Thanks to you guys I've had the best year of aquarium-keeping of my life. I have a 12 gallon Fluval Edge. Right now I have about 5 small tetras, 2 shrimp, be a dwarf pleco. Coming up on one year and have lost very few fish and tank is growing great. I have Anubis, Java ferns, moss, and a few other low light plants. Been doing monthly water changes but now I need to know what i should do about the Stratum. The tank has maintained amazingly clean and clear but the bottom is getting a lil funky. Should I let it be? Add more stratum? Etc? Please help! Thanks in advance.
