Run the system and see how the fish react. If you have to run an air-stone your defeating the whole purpose of the Co2.

Thank you. I haven't used co2 before. So I should move the spray bar on the filter under the water not making bubbles?

That would keep more Co2 in your water column. Which is a good thing for plants. I would try it and see how the fish react, if they seem fine you're doing it right!

I've found it helpful to run the Co2 when the lights are on (during the plants photoperiod) and then when the lights are off and the plants aren't photosynthesizing, turn off the Co2 and run the airstone. This will help with the regulation of gas exchange.

Is there a hose you can take out or something similar?

Oh ok..well you can still run the airstone when the lights are off. Just make sure that you let the Co2 build up in the water column again before you turn t he lights back on. Maybe let the Co2 run for an hour or so before you turn the lights on.

Is it like a DIY? You just do the mixture and the gas is released continuously?
