Im having trouble with constant algae on my plants and driftwood. Ill take a toothbrush or paper towel and wipe it off but it comes back in 2 days. My levels are fine. Also if someone could id what type of plant this is that would be a big help!!
Thanks!! Image1494303494.003752.jpgImage1494303525.777002.jpg

The plant looks like a type of anubias. If you look up the pictures on line check the roots, they are very distinctive. As for the algae I am not sure.

Looks like Black Beard Algae, nasty stuff. I have a tank infested with it.

How long has your tank been cycled? My eyes can't see the algae the best, but on new tanks it's commom to get a diatom bloom that leaves a brown "algae" over the tank.
