I'm not going to lie, with my 100g build being my main focus, my two 10g nurseries have gotten little to no attention beyond the PWC's and feedings. Tonight , I was looking at it and noticed that my remnants of Ricca had grown on the surface nicely over the past couple months, and I was going to put some in my 100g, but when I yanked it out, something came with it. I honestly don't know if it is a huge lump of algae or done kind of miss that might have come along with done snails or shrimp. Hopefully someone can help ID what this mess is... Never mind the other stems/leaves that are mixed in with it.

Thanks in advance!!

I would have to vote algae. I've had fine leaf plants that had grown to the top of the tank right under my lights and they would get algae inside the fronds like it is in your pic. It wasn't in my tank anywhere else, just where the light was super intense. Hope this helps. OS.
