algea!!!

how do i get rid of it? tank parims:ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate ?dosing phosphorus iron and using excel. the algea is mostly on my corckscrew val and i have brown algea on my anubias how do i get rid of that?

size of tank

ppm NO3, PO4
PH, KH, GH

how much are you dosing?

why are you not dosing NO3 and K?

how much light?

cant take pics dont know nitrate have 2 wpg dosing 1 ml of phoshate and iron evry other day sorry i dont know exact parims i dont got test kits yet and the tank is a 10 gallon

it is kind of hard to suggest anything

if you have BBA it could be a CO2 issue
Cyno = NO3 dropping out
Spot = PO4 dropping out


is it a new tank? could be diatoms...

tank is like 8 years old. i guess ill have to keep dosing phosphate for the spot algea but the fuss algea on my corckscrews is what im worried about yopu can see a pic of it on plant geek in the algea section.
edit:im having the same problems your having in your tank like you said in your thread "not the usual algea problems" i have the thread/beard algea and the spider web from plant to plant.

oh i see... i don't know how much help i can be cause those are new types for me

is you beard algae green or black/brown?

Just to clarify you are NOT dosing the iron and phosphate on the same days correct? You want to alternate every other day (ie iron on day 1, phosphate on day 2, iron on day 3, etc...)
