Aponegton

I was told this plant was an aponegton and would bloom w/ flowers and stems that contained flowers out of the water

How can I make that happen faster? So I can get the flowers?

As well as the aponegton what about amazon swards?

It'll happen eventually as it grows. No way to rush it that I know of. The flowers aren't really much to look at. I've manually pollinated them before and managed to get a few tiny new plants about half a year after it went to seed. Actually all of the ones I have were from the seeds. All the original parent plants passed on. Just have to be patient with them.
