I'm new to this forum but was looking for some advice. I have a juwel rio 125litre tank. With a external filter and combined UV bulb that does a good job of keeping the water crystal clear. I have a pressurised co2 tank giving 2 bps. The lights at the moment are just 2 T8 18watt bulbs with reflectors. I don't really know what the plants are other than Java moss. I have arriving tomorrow the arcadia stretch lighting unit 60cm to help get the light to the bottom and induce more growth.
The problem I have is the plants aren't growing lush and I am still getting algae on the ends of the leaves. It's absolutely doing my head in now. Can anyone please give me some advice and will the LED lights improve performance and plant growth. ?.
