I moved your post to its own thread so it was not hijacking the OP of the other thread.

That would be good lighting for a 20 gal... but it is suspiciously cheap. I wonder if the fixture is UL rated? You don't want to save $30 and burn down your house in the process

Yeah, it's ebay so I was wondering. Good price, but it might not be worth it.
What does UL rated mean?

Underwriters Laboratory. They do testing for things to make sure they dont have problems, like burning your house down.

Check out fishneedit.com. They have very affordable units, I have 4 and love them

That's an Odyssea fixture that I know has been panned by a couple of well versed planted/lighting members, so as fort said saving a couple bucks now may cost you more down the road IMO. I'd suggest you look at the lights here: fish need it;lights; food;Sponge
