Axolotls

I was in a pet shop today buying new plants for my aquarium, and i noticed these creatures called axolotls. They look really cool but I haven't brought any yet because I don't know what they eat, and i was wondering if they'd be ok with my fish. So if any of you could enlighten me I'd be most grateful

Oh yes, they are cool. Will they be ok with my fish though? I have 2 goldfish, a comet, a shebunkin, 2 bronze catfish and a hillstream loach

Not advised to mix these with any fish Ben. Their exposed gills are tempting tidbits to even guppies.
