Beginner plants for 10 gallon

I have decided to jump into the planted tank bandwagon and I hope I will succeed . I will be starting my 10 gallon planted tank next week after my media have seeded.

Can you suggest me what plants can I start with? I will be using sand, PFS to be exact, and have 2 driftwoods waiting. My lighting will be a 15w 18" T8 bulb at 8000k.
I would like it moderately planted at first.

I would try anubias and java ferns. I would buy them ask big as you can asd they don't go fast.
