Christmas is coming up and I am looking to upgrade from my 2 screw in CFL's to some better lighting over my 10 gallon. What would you suggest? Links to products would also be a treat! Thanks

With that, I'll need a to buy a hood and bulbs seperately, right?

Which bulb should I buy?

I don't know if they're still around, but tricitytropicals.com (their site says under construction) has refurbished Current or Coralife (I forget) fixtures for super cheap. If you ask at the time of ordering, they will replace the 50/50 bulb with daylight. I had a problem with my refurbished fixture but they fixed it with some of the best service I have had from a retailer. That old thread is here if interested http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f22/praise-for-tricitytropicals-com-77944.html

That 40W CF over my old 10g was a great light. Spring for the legs ($5?) because the only thing that looks cooler than lights on legs are pendants :)
