books

I'm looking for a good book on freshwater plants and was wondering what other people had and what they would recommend. Thanks

Christel Kasselmann's bible ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books ), but its far from cheap.

Pablo Tepoot's book ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...books&n=507846 )...also not cheap, but very worth it.

Barron's manual ( http://barronseduc.com/0812016874.html ) is inexpensive, easily found in many shops, and a good beginner book.

I can wholeheartedly second the recommendation of Christel Kasselmann's book - probably the most comprehensive work on aquarium plants available. The Barron's manual is also what I started out with. It covers most of the basics and has some great advice. I guess I'm basically saying that I completely agree with Toirtis on the best books :P

I've not read Tortis's recommended three, but have learned a lot from Diana Walstad's Ecology of The Planted Aquarium: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books

Anybody know if the Lamotte Hydroponics Handbook is any good? Thanks.
