Hi!

I recently purchased a new light fixture on Ebay for my 75 gallon planted tank.

I bought a brand new 240 watt, 48", JALLI brand hood. It comes with a self cooling fan as well.

My question is, is Jalli a respected brand in aquaria? I am a relative newbie with planted tanks and my next purchase is a CO2 system. Any suggestions for inexpensive ways of doing this would be helpful as well. So far, I have about 10 plants in a low lit tank that are doing well thankfully. I know the new, more powerful light will help a lot. Have great fertilizer as well.

Anyways, thanks for anyone's help!

OH yeah!!! That will do the trick on your tank! Plant city here we come!

glad reefrunner chimed in on the brand, it's not one I know, but I'm new to the high-tech light world. Got my lights from hellolights.com.

I had mucho trouble with my co2 at first, it wasn't easy for me to get all the leaks out of the system. I had more trouble wit this than anything else in setting up my tank.
Ahh, tough call. I got mine here

http://www.wcf.com/co2iron/ 160 bucks, before buying the tank.

Here is a link to another board I frequent, where somebody put together a system for 80 bucks

Thanks guys!

I bought the fixture at $239 which, after researching like hell, seemed to be a great deal. I have seen them in fish stores as much as $500!

Do you think it was a deal? Or could I have found better ones.

Thanks!
