Soo...I believe I have tank fleas! Little pin sized white bugs. Believe they came from growing plants from bulbs...not sure really! How do I control or get rid of them? Do regular gravel cleaning with 25% water changes...weekly! Few days ago got a guppy thinkin it would eat em up...im not sure thats working! ???any suggestions???

Continue the water changes and cleaning - watch for expansion or retraction... ultimately time and cleaning is probably the best course.

Probably copepods.. fish will gobble them up, especially tetras. Guppies probably. My Scarlet Badis absolutely loved them.

Thanks for the help! Gonna keep up on it & maybe have to get tetras.

They're not harmful, don't worry about them :)

My fishless tanks are infested with copepods and various spineless creepy crawlies.

Oddly enough, some of those tanks never develop algae. This leads to an interesting conclusion about ecosystem imbalance and microfauna predation, but regardless, they're a sign of a thriving ecosystem.
