I want to add 1 rubbernose pleco to my planted discus aquarium but I don't know if he will kill the discus or eat the plants :thanks:

Adding any pleco can be risky when added to a discus tank due to their high bioload alone and the needs of the tank. Is there a reason like algae that youre interested in one?

Also, what size is the tank and currect stock?

I like that species of pleco I've got algae under control with my Otos; it's a 37 gallon

3 bronze Corys
4 bleeding heart tetras
2 discus
4 otocinclus
3 Australian rainbowfish
