I currently have 6 Japanese moss balls, and I would like to attach a couple to some of my driftwood. In hopes that in time it would grow and cover my driftwood.
Has this been done before? Is it possible for it to eventually attach itself further, and continue to grow?

Has it been done before? I'm sure someone has tried it.

Attach itself? Nope, it will not attach itself.

Here is some discussion on this subject:

Cladophora

Ok, so if I kinda cut it apart and attach it with rubber bands, then in time possibly my driftwood will be covered?
Is there another kind of moss I can get that will grow better on my driftwood?

Java grows easy, but it's not the prettiest Moss. I prefer other types.
