Can I any tree moss transplant into a fish tank?

I found out tree mosses a lot in my back yard. They are looks great and healthy. So I just wonder if I take some of them and put them in my fresh water aquarium then they still can be survive.
Is anybody tried it already? or know it?

I would say no. As far as I know, they are different species.
