Anyone with experience?

Hi everyone!! I have a few questions about my planted tank. I see growth but not like others with similar plants and specs..

20 gallon tall
Lighting: dual t5 lamp (each 14w)
Substrate: Eco complete
Co2: pressurized
Certs. Leaf zone after ever weekly water change, api root tabs every couple of months.
I also have black brush algae however since adding pressurized co2 it has turned dark red..
Thank you for replying.

You have adequate lighting for medium and some high light requiring plants. However, it is likely you are running short on Nitrogen or Phosphorus. Leafzone is mostly a postassium supplement with some micro nutrients and a small N component. You may need to look towards dosing N,P,K and micros either EI or PPS Pro to make sure you aren't bottoming out on any nutrients.

EI? PPS Pro? Sorry Im still learning the jargon and abbreviations associated with planted tanks.. I'm green lol
