Cleaning planted tanks
Though not truely a plantable plant, I will have a tank full of java ferns, that will both be in wedges by rock-made caves and two semi large pieces of driftwood. My question is how/Are you supposed to gravel clean tankslike these... do you just get close enough or is there a more precise method... and how often say for a single juvenile GSP in a 45 gallon tall tank, XP3 canister filter (overfiltratio like crazy), lighted by (maybe, still thinking about this) a white cold cathode and moonlighted by a blue cold cathode, medium size gravel (natural not colored). I do have a python gravel cleaning hose.
