What's the tank volume, light wattage, light color and type. Seachem flourish is a micro nutrient mix really. It has chelated minerals, no co2. It has very trace amounts of macro but not enough to matter. You probably won't need co2 depending on your light.
 
I don't really like excel. Sure it has its merits but it can cause more sensitive plants to melt.

Interesting, I've never heard that. I'm honestly never used it, so thanks for the advice.
 
more then likely no you dont need it. though again like crepe pointed out with out more info its hard to say for sure.
