What is the point of CO2 in the planted tank and how do you use it? Where do you get it?

CO2 is used by plants to photosynthesize effectively. It is essential for good plant growth and is often the limiting factor in plant growth. Since it is a gas, we have to introduce it to water through various means: pressurized, liquid (excel), yeast (diy). The aim is to keep the gas in contact with the water as long as possible for it to be available for plants to absorb it. This is a readers digest version but hope it helps a little.
