CO2 cylinder source

Hi All,

I would like to upgrade my CO2 tank to a 5 or 10 lb tank. Where would I find a tank this size? I am looking for this, and I can think of only two type of places that would carry tanks this size:

1. Paintball SUpply Stores (most wont have a tank this big)

2. Home brewery / keg suppliers

Would anyone be willing to mention the type of business that they obtained a CO2 tank of this size from? TIA!

AtC

Welding supply company would be a good bet as well.

I would just look in your yellow pages for CO2 suppliers or something of the sort.

I saw a truck in my neighborhood the other day that sells 5, 10, and 20 lb tanks for carbonated beverages and bars. I went ahead and wrote down the number so that I would have it when I go pressurized on my big tank (that isn't set up yet).

I just picked up a 5lb tank from a local welding supplier yesterday - it's probably your best bet locally. Everyone else (brewing supply, etc.) will most likely be getting theirs from the same source, and marking it up.
