I was about to buy a co2 injector for my 16gallon planted tank and while I was reading the instructions and info the employee suggested I not get it because I may suffocate my fish if I inject co2. Is this true and if so is it like a hug chance of it happening or just it could happen but it probly won't?

Yes it can easily kill fish. Its not just left to chance. There ways to easily ensure this wont happen though. Bubble counters, drop checkers, & this graph

combined with knowing your ph can all help you acheive this. Research these things well and youll see why it can be a great way to do a planted tank. I do Co2 with fish in the tank just fine.
