So, I've just started converting my 36 gallon corner tank to planted; got a new lighting fixture (Odyssea t5 24", 4 bulb fixture), stuck some plants in (bought an anubis congensis, dwarf sagittaria, cyperus helferi, microsword, and some others) and I'm looking around for parts and pieces for a CO2 system. I'm doing a DIY until I get everything together for a pressurized system, but I was hoping for some tips going for parts or a cheap system?

As you can prob tell from the lighting, I'm a bit cash-strapped (I did the research on it though, and got the feeling if I was REALLY gentle, it shouldn't break for at least a year lol). I'll throw in some pics, too.

DIY:
One drop checker with 4dKH solution
One 2 liter soda bottle
One 16 oz soda bottle
One check valve
Air line tubing
About 3 inches of rigid plastic tubing
Silicon sealant
Diffusion method
Yeast
Sugar
Water

Pressurized:
One drop checker with 4dKH solution
One CO2 cylinder
One pressure regulator
One solenoid
One needle valve
One bubble counter
One check valve
CO2 resistant tubing
Diffusion method

Think that covers it.
