Technically you could put any color plant on the planet in your tank.. may not last long but it'd be there:p thing about dem reds is they're a bit tricky at times. Success will mainly be determined by a few key variables.

Fertilizer regiment
Substrate (nutrition provided by)
lighting

I have CO2

I have fertilizer supplements

I have Eco complete gravel (iron and all of that good stuff)

I have a high watt light source

Would love names of species, please

The only plant I know of that stays red in any kind of lighting and doesn't need ferts or anything specialeven crappy low light leds which it actually prefers I noticed.. is Altenthera renekie you can buy them in petsmart. Its the red plant on the left of my picture

Rotala macrandra and Ludwigia species Red grow like weeds in my tank. They are pinkish red and dark red respectively. Ferts, co2, medium lighting.
I had AR and it did well the first year but afterwards became and algae magnet.
