Compare and Contrast Ferts...

Ok so I had the owner of my lfs order some ferts for me to fight my algae.

I asked her to order in Flourish Potassium and Nitrate (nitrate was about 5 ppm and i have 1-2 ppm po4 in my tap)

she ordered the flourish potassium, but instead of the flourish nitrate she got me Kent botanica Nitro+ (1 capfull bumped my nitrates up to ~40 ppm)

so what do all of you think? pros and cons

Seachem vs. Kent ???

Don't think there's any pros or cons. Nitrogen is nitrogen, and as long as you know how much to dose of that product, you should be fine.

that is kind of what i figured, but being a newbie to the planted tank/ fert part of the hobby i needed to check to be sure.
