Conversion to flourite

I am thinking about converting my 45 gallon tank from dirt to flourite. Any idea on how many bags I should get? I was thinking three of the 15 lb bags but I could be totally wrong. Any other advice is welcome a well.

Dirt with flourite cap would be better. You'll probably need 2-3 bags.

I want to get rid of the dirt completely for a comparison to my other dirt tanks. And I will probably put some laterite down first and then a grid of root tabs across the tank.
