Could I get live plants?

Besides, my 12g nanocube, which will soon be beautifully planted, I was wondering if there are live plants I can put in my 55g without upgrading lighting. Its only 30 watts total right now, the bulbs I used are the 50/50's in my sig. I always assumed it is not lit enough for plants to grow, but I figured I might as well ask...

Anubias and java fern will survive with under 1 wpg, although growth will be slow if any. I have a low light planted 55 g. I have double strip light containing 2 30w bulbs. It's proven ideal for growing low light plants.

You might also be able to get some Crypts to grow in those conditions, specifically C. wendtii. And I agree with Brian, Anubias and Java fern are probably your best bets.
