Discoloring Plants

Hello Everyone.

I had an algae issue, so I'm leaving the lights on for about 4 hours per day, I'm seeing discoloring on the plants now.

Here are some pics. Let me know what you think is causing it.

Thank you

Devon

Looks kind of like ongoing crypt melt. If you recently changed lighting, it's possible it caused it.

How many hours should I have the lights on? Some people tell me 6 to 8 hours, but if I have them on that long, I start getting algae..

What do you think.

It sounds like your problem isn't just light. What's your entire setup?

Canister filter
I have the marineland led lights for plants.

I had the lights in for 4 hours, I haven increased it to 6 hours. I'm hoping that will improve the plants.

Any advise?
