DIY Co2

What do you do you use? I've read many different ways. Just wondering what are some ways you go by and think works very well.

I'm not sure exactly, i know that you need yeast, suger and it needs to be sealed up tight. You could always do a google search for aquarium DIY co2...

Your question is a bit vauge Rx. All DIY CO2 is, is a container filled with sugar, water, and a pinch of yeast. The 'recipe' varies because it's based on the size of the container.

Check out the DIY CO2 articles on the Krib.

http://www.thekrib.com/

That's where I got my recipe and other good ideas...although I liked this reactor at http://www.aquaticscape.com/articles/co2reactor.htm

Shawmutt I have a 10 gallon to use put the Co2 in and, so I think 2 bottles may be too much and also, it said the mixture lasts a week, but I don't want to go mix it every week.
The "recipe" in the krib uses less sugar and yeast, but how long does it last?

My mixture lasts up to a full month. 1 gallon jug, 2 cups sugar, pinch of baker's yeast.

Hmm. I have 2 liter bottles and one that's 3 liters. Should I use the same amount for it?
