DIY CO2 for 125 gallon?

Is it worth it to use a DIY solution for a tank of this size? Would java fern benefit from CO2? I only have an amazon sword and some java fern at the moment.

Seems like I've read diy c02 is best for 30 gallon and less.

I wouldn't bother for a Java fern. Swords grow very well with root tabs

I went straight for bottle co2 on a 150gal tank. Just so I can set it and the bottle lasts for a few months before replacing so easier for me.

DIY co2 won't have much if any effect on a tank that size
