I just started my DIY CO2 system today. I put the tubing into the intake just below the water line. That is where it is supposed to be right? I want to make sure I'm doing this right. Hopefully all works well....the algae was outgrowing the plants :D

a reactor or diffuser works best, but if you don't have one of them then yes the intake is where you want it. you should also be using an airstone if possible.

EDIT: what do you mean by "just below the water line"?

the tube should be at the intake that is down near the bottom of the take.

i took a small heating pad(the kind for a sore knee or whatever) and placed my 3-2 liter bottles on it. during the day i turn it on low and they blow better bubbles all day.
