Driftwood at the shops here is really expensive... So, can I use mango tree wood as driftwood?

Cant see any reason why not. I got my driftwood pieces from a lake shore 2hours north of me. I pressure washed it and boiled it to be sure there were no passengers on it before I put it into the tank. Only potential issue could be if it floats?? Mine did/does, so I SSteel wire wrapped it to a few large rocks and planted moss around the SSteel wire to hide it.
