So, I'm sure this isn't any kind of breakthrough, but I'm proud to have figured it out. Ran an air line from the tank to one of these screw-down air line valve gadgets, then another line from that to a fish bowl to acclimate new otos and cardinals. I can control the speed of the drip by tightening and loosening the valve. Beats floating a bag.

Nice work! Just make sure the bowl does not overflow...
 
That's exactly what I do with my new additions. Has I've had a close call with an overflow once, I set it on a really slow drip for some rams, started watching tv and the next thing I know the bucket is filled to the brim haha, luckily I didn't have a puddle on the floor yet
