I have 3 containers, 1 w/csm+b, 1 nitrates, & 1 phosphates. I added glut & distilled water in each bottle when I mixed it. My concern/question is, how long is the shelf life of each? I ask this because I had stopped dosing my tank for several months and was ready to get back into dosing again. I shook the bottles very well, I think, then I put the bottles up to the light and I saw floaties. If any of you that HAVE done the hiatus from dosing before, what was your experience with the ferts, did you use the old or did you make fresh?

I'd suggest starting fresh...give the bottles a good rinsing&mix your solutions..better safe than sorry...Good luck

I wouldnt worry about it honestly. Bacteria does tend to grow in the micro mix, but that bacteria will grow regardless and is harmless to fish.
