I just want to hear from any one who has tried growing HC without injecting CO2 and how much success they've had with it. I hear it's possible but people seem to be getting mixed results?

I'm not looking to get it to spread everywhere necessarily. I'm just hoping to keep it alive and well enough that it at least stays looking presentable.

I have a 10 gal with sand and root tabs and my lighting is two 10 watt 6500k cfls(zoomed ultrasun) for a total of 20 watts.

Dosing liquid CO2 and other ferts etc. if necessary.

Thanks!

Hi, sorry I can't comment on the HC as I've never tried it lowtech but have you considered micranthemum Monte Carlo as an alternative? Very similar looking and considerably easier.

Appreciate the suggestion!
