I like them. Just don't overfeed your tank and there won't be a population explosion.

Snail eggs!
(I thought shrimp held the eggs)
Not sure of shrimp anatomy but the eggs are held under the abdomen until they hatch.
Snails are good, they do a lot of work in the tank. Also make great puffer fish food!
Some fish eat the eggs and even the snails, most of the time it's bottom dwelling fish.
