Excel for bba

Hi sorry wasn't sure which forum to use for topic but figured the plant guys would know best
I've been treating some bad bba in my tank on one side with excel squirted directly onto it.
And was curious how much per clump is needed to kill it and how long before that clump should die off?
I've done it twice this week and none of it seems to be dying off.

I would do 5 ml at a time. Do you turn off all water flow in tank when you squirt it on the algae ? You can also use hydrogen peroxide the same way. Much cheaper.

Ok cool. Yeah I turn off all water flow and let it sit for 20mins

yeah, try hydrogen peroxide instead. It's a lot more potent than excel. Make sure you turn off all filters for 30 min. after you spot treat.

Ok will try that instead. I found some that says hydrogen peroxide (3%)
How much per clump should I use?
