Favorite freshwater plants to use?

What is everyone's favorite plants to use in freshwater tanks?!

Some hardy ones that are easy to keep: Java Fern, Jungle Val, Amazon Swords (as long as you give them a rich substrate or plenty of root tabs.). For a tall stem plant, I like Bacopa Caroliniana.

I like crypts, java ferns, melon swords, amazon swords, tiger lily and I just got an apongeton vulvaceous that I'm really liking.

Crypts and hygrophillias. Fairly easy to maintain and look after with great variety
