I am having a 2ft planted tank and using a canister filter. I am considering using ammonia removing stones in my my filter. Anyone knows if this better or not? Thanks.

If you are having ammonia issues, then yes, they will help. If you are not having ammonia issues, then you are better off using that space for something else...like more bio media.
