Very nice tank!

Scraping the tank isn't a good idea cause you could scratch the glass or acrylic.

I use a sponge much easier!
 
I think the op means 'scaping.'

It's a very nice 'scape! Looks really calm.
 
good job! the only suggestion I might make is on the left side maybe choose a different color plant or an interesting rock in the middle ground to help separate the foreground and background which may help increase depth of field as is done by the driftwood on the right side, but I am in no way an expert, so with that do what you like it's your tank as long as it you enjoy it that's all that really matters
 
Very nice! Do you mind sharing your plant list? I see corkscrew Val, and java fern. The middle stem plant and foreground? Is that microsword and cabomba?
 
Yes to all of those, there are two types of cabomba. There is also a tallish grass near the front but I'm not sure what it's called
