First Stab at Plants

So Im trying some potted plants out and wanted to know if Schultz Aqua Soil is alright to use? My parents have a bag they used in there pond and was wondering if it be alright for tropical fish. I researched the stuff and it says neutral pH and safe for all fish.

I'm pretty sure people have used it successfully in planted tanks. Just layer it under sand or gravel or something.

Thanks Im doing it in pots for my first try so if it doesnt work out its not a big deal to clean up.

I've never used it, as I've heard its very light weight. But I know others who used it successfully.

As far as 'safe for fish and plants' yeah, its perfectly safe to use.
