First time trimming amazon swords

So today I decided to trim my amazon sword plants as two if them are producing sproutlings with really nice roots. So I clipped them just under the bulb of the sprout and transplanted them into the substrate. Here a pic of both my sprouts.

Can you pull them up just a touch as it appears in the picture that you have the crowns under the substrate.
