Fllourish tabs new clay substrate

i heard when installing new baked clay substate (aquadurt) that it takes some time for it to emit its minerals and nutrients. so i put in flourish tabs and dose excel and i have my co2 device. how long should i use flourish tabs until the substrate takes over, will it ever..?
