Flourish tabs- do I need liquid?

I just started a 29 g and I have several plants. I used Flourish tabs when I planted but do I need to use liquid ferts also? My substrate is sand and I have 2 t5 bulbs over the aquarium. In the past I have not used fertilizers and didn't have good lights so I want to make sure I am doing right by the plants.

IMO, yes. Tabs only have a fraction of what liquid has in it.

Tabs don't really help the filter feeding plants like java ferns ... Liquid ferts don't really help heavy root feeders like swords.

Ok thanks guys. I just ordered the Flourish liquid starter kit to see how I do with that.
