Flourish tabs ok for java fern and moneywort?

I realize that the java fern gets it's nutrients from the water column, so would the tabs work? Could you plant them instead of tying them to something?

root tabs wont do much, if anything, for those plants. If you're seeing a deficiency, something like flourish comprehensive would be a better idea.

Ok, good to know I wasn't sure whether to go liquid or tabs. Thanks for clarifying.
