The stock lighting for this 200litre tank is 2x 30W T8's. I'm growing anubias and other low light plants at the moment, but not much else will grow with this lighting so I'm looking to upgrade.

I'm going to get twin Grobeam 600 Ultimas (2 strips). http://www.aquarayusa.com/grobeam.html

I was originally thinking of upgrading to T5's, but the work involved in changing the hood for that is just too much work. These are much easier to install.

My question is, can I install these and run my stock T8's at the same, or will that be overkill? Or will the light from the 2 grobeams be more than enough?

I'm using root tabs for my swords and dosing 2ml of easy carbo a day. Eventually I want to get a CO2 system, but that's down the line after I sort out my lighting.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
