found a snail, identify

i found this snail , well 3 now, should i remove them, or are they ok, i just dont want 100 of them...

Looks like a ramshorn.........shouldn't be a problem.
Although some ramshorns eat plants.....this one looks like mine and mine don't bother my plants.

yeah i have a few in my planted, and they nibble the dead leaves thats about it, the ones u have to worry bout are giant rams(gold and stipped), those guys will clean out a 20g over night from what i have gathered! if u dont want to many, cut back on the food a bit when feeding ussual an ubundance of food will help the critters multiply.
 
if you do end up with too many collect them up and post them in the barter / trade or classified section - puffer and loach keepers might welcome the additional food source !

I have these in my planted tank also - as said, they don't bother live plants. Some of them are a really nice shade of red, which is pretty.
