No problem. Happy to return all the advice you've given. I'd love to see your FBT setup. Maybe put something in the Other Pets section?

I recommend some botia loaches for the 55! They're super fun.
Says they play havoc on plants and like softer acidic water. My tap is 7.8 and a bit on the hard side. :(

Otherwise they are pretty cool fishies. I like the zebras.

Fish adapt easier to hard water than soft. pH is fine for them.

I've kept a few different Botia loaches, none have bothered my plants.

No uprooting or snacking on the plants?

Tank has 6 Botia loaches... 3 golden zebras and 3 clown loaches.

Beautiful tank. I assume they will do fine with the corys? I was also thinking of some rams as I have one bolivian now. Possibly round it out with Angels to make the wife happy. What should I be concerned about with the angels? This will be in the 55 btw..that's what I've been approved for. :)

As some basic guidelines..

1 angel per tank or you may experience fighting.

1 pair of Rams per tank.

At least 5 for a school of corydora.

Hopefully you can work around that to help stock your tank :)

I will be initially stocking from my 20g with:

3 c. Paleatus, 1 pair and 1 offspring
1 cory, possibly c. Loxozonus
1 Bolivian Ram
5 Neon Tetras
1 Dalmatian mollie large female
2 Dalmatian Mollies small male offspring of large female that have stunted in current tank

Possible adds:

5 c. Loxozonus
5 neons
1 bolivian ram
3 c. Paleatus
5 Botia Kubotai

Now Im thinking this may be better suited to the 40b. Not much action going on above. What other Tetras would fit with this group?
