Yes... fully planted is best! Collectoritist style ;) well at first at least, then you get to learn the various growth patterns of different plant species. Then when you do a rescape, you know how to plan for a proper aquascape. Just my 2 cents.

Tank Planting

I have a 75 gallon with some plants but I was wondering if I should do a fully planted?

Hello Dill...

A heavily planted tank looks good and is healthy for the fish, because the plants filter the tank water and the algae that forms on the plant leaves is a good supplement to the fishes' diet.

I would say the more plants in the tank, the better.
